The Multimedia Encyclopedia of Women in Today's World

As you might imagine, the scholarly field of Women's Studies is extremely broad and interdisciplinary. The resources you will find on this, as well as other pages on this LibGuide are merely examples of the wealth of information and knowledge available to you through our library. When searching online catalogues and databases, you can begin with the simple keyword "Women" as a subject term. You will quickly see the depth and breadth of the topic as you review the wide range of narrower subject headings. You will be hard pressed to find a more defined area of study (e.g. Music, Mathematics, Psychology, Medicine, Law, Geography, 20th Century History) that will not offer resources that particularly address the status of women and issues related thereto.
