Misinformation and Russian Troll Farms

One of the tools Vladimir Putin has used over the last fifteen years or so is creating troll farms and having teams of Russians creating fake accounts to spread misinformation and disinformation everywhere. Putin is infamous for sowing disinformation, having been a part of the successful KGB disinformation campaign of the 1980s around the world in which the CIA was blamed for AIDS being spread. The following are some things to keep in mind with the current conflict in Ukraine.
